It's the summer of 1776, and the nation is ready to declare independence... if only our founding fathers can agree to do it! 1776 follows John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Richard Henry Lee, and Thomas Jefferson as they attempt to convince the members of the 2nd Continental Congress to vote for independence by signing the Declaration of Independence. 1776 puts a human face on the pages of history as we see the men behind the national icons: proud, frightened, uncertain, irritable, charming, often petty and ultimately noble figures determined to do the right thing for a fledgling nation. 1776 is a funny, insightful and compelling drama.

A hilarious family comedy written by the same talented playwright who penned JJP’s hit season-opener from 2011, All Shook Up and the long-running musical revue I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. Loaded with laughs, the play follows Nick, a single Italian-American guy from New Jersey, and his loving but scheming grandparents, Frank, Aida, Nunzio and Emma. Toss in the lovely, single, Caitlin O’Hare, and you will be served up with an evening of laughter and surprises.

Wait Until Dark

A masterfully constructed Broadway thriller, Wait Until Dark moves from one moment of suspense to another as it builds toward an electrifying, breath-stopping final scene. The ingredients? A sinister con man, two ex-convicts, Greenwich Village apartment dwellers Sam and his blind wife Susy, a mysterious doll, murder – and darkness. Broadway theater critics have called Wait Until Dark “a tense thriller" and “a first rate shocker.”

This endearing and humorous comedy-drama follows three Jewish widows who meet once a month for tea before going to visit their husband’s graves.  Ida is sweet tempered and ready to begin a new life, Lucille is a feisty embodiment of the girl who just wants to have fun, and Doris is priggish and judgmental, particularly when Sam the butcher enters the scene.  Doris and Lucille squash the budding romance between Sam and Ida and are guilt stricken when this nearly breaks Ida’s heart.  A funny, touching, sweet tempered comedy that provides pure pleasure and will make you glad you came to the theater.
